Treating ADD goes beyond using psychostimulants to control behavior. It's about nurturing the child's growth. We must not only focus on the child, but also on the family and social environment that shape parenting and childhood development.

O czym to jest?

Scattered Minds (1999) challenges the common belief that attention deficit disorder (ADD) is a hereditary condition. While it acknowledges the genetic component of the disorder, it emphasizes the importance of considering psychological and sociological factors that may also influence the symptoms. ADD can often be traced back to specific family and social environments. Understanding this is not only about setting the record straight in terms of science, but it also holds the key to finding effective treatment methods.
