One fateful night, Mary Pat allows Jules to go out with Rum and Brenda, setting off a chain of events that leads her to uncover the truth about Jules’s death. Seeking justice, she confronts George, learns of Frank Toomey and Marty Butler’s involvement, and exacts her revenge. After killing Frank and wounding Marty, she faces off with Brian Shea, exposing his role in the community’s suffering before succumbing to her injuries. Coyne arrests Marty’s crew, reflecting on the changes in Southie and Mary Pat’s sacrifice. At her funeral, her ex-husband Ken and Calliope share a moment of solidarity, united by their grief and the prejudice they face in a divided community.
