Book summary
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is the younger son of King Charles III and Diana, Princess of Wales. In 2018, he married Megan Markle. The couple announced their withdrawal from official royal family duties in 2020. He currently lives in the United States with his wife and two children.
When Harry looks back at his life, he realizes that a common theme runs through nearly all of his troubles – the press, which is obsessed with tearing the royal family apart.
What a tragedy that Harry and Meghan had to leave the country in this way.
Despite the struggle, there have also been victories, such as Harry's acceptance of his mother's death. As for love, he found it, and he started his own family - something he once thought was impossible.
Besides being "the Spare," Harry has also set himself free and is now living his life like he wants to.
"What hell, being an adult!"
"I always thought that Granny experienced all the normal human emotions. She just knew better than the rest of us mortals how to control them."
"My problem has never been with the monarchy, nor the concept of monarchy. It’s been with the press and the sick relationship that’s evolved between it and the Palace."
