To lead a life without shame, we must practice unconditional self-love and rely on our inherent value when interacting with friends, family, and colleagues. By doing so, we have the courage to be open and vulnerable because our worthiness cannot be diminished by failure or rejection. By embracing our vulnerability, putting ourselves out there, and actively participating, we can form deeper connections with others and positively impact our personal and professional lives.
“Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
“Shame, blame, disrespect, betrayal, and the withholding of affection damage the roots from which love grows. Love can only survive these injuries if they are acknowledged, healed and rare.”
“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.”
