Résumé du livre
Osho, also known as Osho Rajneesh, earned a master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Sagar before promoting a new Dynamic Meditation in the 1970s and ’80s. He was a popular spiritual leader, with a devoted following around the world. He passed away in 1990.
Osho meditation, or awareness meditation, emphasizes relaxation, positivity, and joy through mindfulness in any activity. The practice revolves around becoming a "watcher"—an observant, detached state of clarity where thoughts and emotions are noticed but not engaged with. This transformation unfolds in stages: observing the body, thoughts, and emotions, ultimately leading to enlightenment when all align harmoniously. Techniques like Osho Kundalini Meditation, Nataraj Meditation, and Nadabrahma Meditation incorporate movement, sound, and stillness to release energy and emotional blockages, fostering mindfulness. Meditation also explores life's dualities, such as light and darkness, teaching that observation is eternal while emotions are transient. Simple acts like sitting or breathing with awareness can transform daily life, and mindfulness can even break habits by disrupting automatic behaviors. While the mind and ego often resist simplicity, meditation encourages detachment, allowing practitioners to reclaim control and embrace a state of pure presence.
