Migration drives economic growth, fosters innovation, and supports welfare systems, particularly in aging populations. It also benefits migrants’ home countries through remittances, knowledge transfer, and reduced domestic pressures. Historically, migration has been a constant, shaping societies and economies, and remains a fundamental human right. However, many governments impose barriers, ignoring the mutual benefits migration offers to both origin and destination countries.
