This migration, combined with China’s economic strategies, is reshaping Africa’s landscape, often through exploitative practices that displace locals and deepen corruption. While China’s investments in infrastructure and business ventures have brought some benefits, they frequently fail to empower local communities, leaving a mixed legacy that continues to shape African perceptions of China’s expanding influence.
